Just like a magic fairytale, for every horrible angry tweet we get from a tyrant, karma gives us a magnificent butterfly of a viral sensation. This time it’s of everyone’s favorite muppet, Ivanka Trump.
Yesterday someone alerted me to the incredibly awkward photo array of Trump at the G-20 summit with his daughter, Ivanka, front and center every photo, sitting there like an idiot and doing nothing. Why was she there? No clue. Apparently Trump believes a global summit with world leaders also means that it’s a “take your daughter to work” day. Spoiler alert: it’s not.
Ivanka wasn’t invited and was about as useful as a pair of wax lips. But there she is… In every photo… Smiling like she’s at a beauty pageant for the criminally-insane.
But fortunately the gods of Twitter have responded with the hashtag #UnwantedIvanka and people all over the world are photoshopping Ivanka into some of the most iconic images of history… Like someone’s evil awkward aunt lurking in the background ready to steal your boyfriend when your back is turned.
